Tammie Davis, Director

Hello! My name is Tammie Davis. I've started working at Kid's Care America on August 26th 2013 in the Preschool room. I'm excited to have the opportunity to work with the children that are here. Before coming to Kid's Care America, I worked for the Children's Center of Tazewell Co. Inc. for 19 years. I began working as a student aid. Over the years, I worked my way up from Assistant to Director. During this time, I received my Associates in Early Childhood in 2002. I've had experience with working with children ages 15 months to 7 years old. My main position was teacher for the 4 year old. I enjoyed this age, but look forward to new experiences and challenges. Outside of working with children, I work on an ice cream concession trailer during the summer time with my family since 1992. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband (Bob), 2 boys (AJ and Jeff)  and my granddaughter (Gracelynn). I also enjoy fishing, gardening, reading and playing games. I'm also involved in Boy Scouts with my son AJ. With all the old and new experience that I've had, I believe your child will have lots of opportunities to grow. If you have any concerns or questions, please feel free to let me know. I will do my best to help your child grow through their experience at Kid's Care America.

Cynthia Jeffers, Infant Teacher

Jeanne Draksler, Infant Teacher

Hi, my name is Jeanne. I'm an infant room teacher and I have been employed with Kid's Care America since January 2008. I have also been the babysitter at Fitness America for about 15 years.

I'm married and we have 3 grown children. On the weekends, I travel to St. Louis to watch my grandchildren while their parents work. I also have two grandchildren here in East Peoria. My youngest daughter is not married yet, but we are busy planning her wedding. Needless to say, I have lots of experience taking care of children and I love it.

Jen Myers, Pre-K Teacher

Hello, My name is Jen and I'm excited to get to teach in Pre-K. I started working with children 23 years ago. It is a privilege to get to be a part of preparing your children for kindergarten. I have learned many things from the children and their families over the years. There is never a dull moment with this profession. I see each child as a unique individual with valuable opinions.

Ruth Wagner, Preschool/Pre-K Teacher

Hello, My name is Ruth Wagner and I'm looking forward to being your child's Preschool/Pre-K teacher for a year. I have over 20 years of teaching experience and have been employed at Kid's Care America for 7 years. I have an Associate Degree in Early Childhood and a 4 year Degree in Elementary Education. My two beautiful daughters have blessed me with five wonderful grandchildren. I enjoy reading, walking, watching movies, and am involved in several ministries within my church.

Tracey Peak, Cook

Hello, My name is Tracey. I'm the cook at Kid's Care America. I like to go camping and swimming. I just brought a Kayak. I love going on vacations and seeing new things like being outside, having bonfires and friends over for cook outs. I love to cook but not really a baker. LOL! Love spending time with my youngest son.
